Guys....what would you have felt/done?

I met my GF back last October.... while I met her she was talking to one of my friends and after about a month that ended. Also, while we were talking she had a few of her guys friends spend the night. We went October,November,December, and most of January without fighting or brining it up. However, in January.... we brought up our past relationships as serious couples usually do. She told me that she slefpt with that friend of mine 5 times in 6 days after they had only been hanging out for around 13 days... she also said that when those 2 boys came up she got really drunk and slipped down to her bra and thong for them and danced with them. I of course got mad and we started to fight a little after that... At the pt when we brought it up I really loved her and I felt really hurt and sad and at times said some hurtful things about it. In early May I finally got over it but she said that it took to long and I was immature for it. Guys...how would you have felt or handled it?

Can pits have double dew claws?

My aunt recently dumped a 4 week old puppy on me. She said it was full blooded pit. Although i looked at her and she didn't look like it too me. I gave the puppy a bath to try and wash away all the bloody spots and fleas and dirt off of her. I realized she had a double dew claw on both back feet. She is a chocolate brindle color. Removing gloss paint from exterior window sills?

Hi everyone, my exterior window sills are painted in gloss. I want to remove it and apply exterior emulsion instead, as I'm getiing an ingress of water and I believe the gloss is to blame. Firstly, do you agree that the gloss could be the problem? I reckon the rain is getting in via hairline cracks and cannot escape. Secondly, what would you recommend to remove the gloss (I have UPVC windows, so need to be careful). Thirdly, how should I prepare the surface before applying the masonary paint? Orchids are one of the best flowers you can use for weddings. They last a long time, and are quite hardy. They are great for submerging in a vase of water. I regularly recommend orchids in wedding flowers, as they can also withstand the day being out of water. Dendrobiums and Cymbidiums are the most hardy for this purpose. I have also used the single flowers of Dendrobiums plucked off the stems and suspended them on fine wire for arrangements with no problems. Just keep them away from very low temperatures such as fridges, as they are prone to frostbite.

Prey drive in English Mastiff?

He needs to meet a few smaller dogs. I'd put him on a prong collar and correct him for showing too much interest in the dog (he's a big dog, he requires his size and energy be accounted for). If you give him a correction under his energy level it'll do exactly nothing to switch his drive off. Once he's calm you can move the dog closer to him paying close attention to body language and his energy level. If he keeps acting silly, slow every thing down and be sure to give the corrections on time, before he gets into "Must kill!" mode. Doing this a few times will teach him the energy he must bring when meeting a dog, big or small, and will teach him how you expect him to act. Of course you may muzzle the dog if you're not comfortable having a smaller dog that close to him and if you can't manage his size you might actually have to put a harness and leash on him plus the training collar (and separate leash) so somebody can help you hold him via harness while you correct him via training collar. I actually had to do that with a mive APBT x Mastiff mix...Pitbull strength + Mastiff size = bad news! Anyway, good luck with your giant puppy! Brown discharge week before period on birth control & other symptoms: could I be pregnant?

I am 21 years old and currently on the birth control Yaz and have been for almost a year now. Never had had any problems or spotting or anything with it I have not missed a pill but I do not take it at exactly the same time every day. I haven't had in about 5 weeks, but for the past week I have had moderate spotting changing from pinkish red to brown back to red. My period last month was perfectly normal. I also have had incredibly sore for the past week, slight cramping,severe lower back pain, fatigue, and some slight weight gain. My period isn't due for another 5 days but I took an early detection pregnancy test and it came back negative. Could I possibly be pregnant and the birth control is making it hard to realize this? I know some birth control has symptoms similar to pregnancy, but I figured some other insight wouldn't hurt, thanks!

Morphine and trouble swallowing?

I was recently given morphine for severe pain. I've tried many other narcotics but either they didn't help or had very bad side effects. Now I've been on morphine for just a few days and have noticed that I can't swallow well, especially later in the day as the med 'aculates' in my body. I'm on the immediate release form of morphine. I'm wondering if anyone has had this side effect and if so, did it go away with time or did you have to go off of it? My doc knows about this and we're just waiting to see what happens. If I complain about this much he will switch me to another narcotic and finally I found one that actually WORKS and don't really want to 'experiment' with other meds. I have a *very* good doc so please do not tell me to find a new one. He's very conservative and cautious so it's up to ME to tell him what's going on. Ok i just want you to know i know exactly how you feel! i was the exact same way last year. im 5'3 and 21. when i was 19 i put on 30 lbs by the time i was 20!!! i had gone to being a size 0 all my life to a 5! i felt disgusting and fat. it all went to my stomach, , and thighs. i couldnt stand myself! everyone else around me is super tall and skinny and beautiful! i finally decided to do something about it. my goal weight was 115 and i made it! and im gonna go the extra 10 this year! the best way to loose weight at the point your at is to eat healthy and decrease your cal intake. i hated exercising! so what you want to do is add a 0 to how much you want to weigh to find out how many cals you should eat a day. like my cal per day was 1150. its that easy. now if u do decided to exercise you can add more cals to that. eating- always have breakfast. i usually would have a snack between breakfast and lunch and then between lunch and dinner and sometimes after dinner if it didnt go over my cal intake. always eat high protein foods. you can find a list online ne where. the protein is what keeps you full longer! now if i really felt super hungry i always kept a baggy of almonds with me. its super low in cals and high in protein. but dont eat the whole bag like eat like five! i really hope this helps. if u have ne other questions just ask!!! your not alone!

Has any one used the Dirt Devil Broom Vac (the newest one)?

I got one for Christmas this year. It works great on small particles like dust, dust bunnies, etc. It doesn't work that great on things like Cheerios, cat food, gravel, etc. Also, the dust bunnies clog the intake pretty easily and I had to take it apart to unclog it more than I would've liked. I have a 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old twins, so my floors are probably tered with more debris than most. For light sweeping it is great, for me, I was hoping for more suction.

Severe pain before and during period?

I had a tubal ligation done almost 6 years ago an since then my periods have gotten very painful and very heavy, I had some cramps before but now a couple of days before I start hurting in my thighs and knees and it gradually moves up to my stomach (I feel like I'm having a miscarriage), on the day my period starts I hurt so bad that i feel like I'm in preterm labor, it hurts from my belly on down to my knees and I get really sick, I feel like I'm gong to throw up. Should I give up my istant manager position?

I work as an istant manager at a large music instrument retailer. It is a full time position with a lot of responsibilities that I have been doing about 5 months. The problem I have is that I still working on 100% commission. Because of all the responsibilities I have I have little time to sell and average about $550 per 80 hour paychecks. The position would be great if it was an hourly wage, but the stress that I have to go through for so little pay when I can not get much commission does not seem worth it to me. The thing that bothers me most is that when I was just a department manager with much less responsibilities I was averaging $1,500 per 80 hour paychecks from commission. This is not a job I want to make a career, its just a job to get me through college. Should I give up my AM position and ask to return to DM?

Adding an acid of pH 2 (ex. lemon juice) to another acid with pH 2 (HCl) doesn't make it more acidic, the pH stays the same. so why would it matter if you ate a lot of acid? wouldn't it be a problem rather, if you ate very base foods? is it a problem for other parts of the digestive system?

(May 14) That same morning I took 2 birth control pills, since I missed one the day before. So I am a JW and have been one since childhood. I go out in service, I am active in my congregation, well liked and well know publisher, I am NOT baptized (do not feel that is something one should 'rush' into until one is 100% prepared, like marriage, and I am still in college and it is demanding). My question is this; my family has always sport shot (guns and bows) and we all own firearm for home protection. I had always heard at meetings and in the literature that sport shooting and owning a firearm for protection was a 'gray' area to be left to your own conscience. Recently I was returning from the range and ran into Sister Knowitall who now has the whole congregation think I am some political mercenary/serial killer. Did I miss something in a magazine or a directive from the Governing Body on this issue? Please don't quote me a bunch of 'swords into plow shears" and "Live by the sword die by the sword" scriptures to me, as I said I am not a novice. I am not a killer, I shoot for sport and have guns in my home STRICTLY for self defense as I have a family. I trust in Jehovah, but I feel no guilt or personal conflict over this. Jehovah helps those who help themselves and we are not a religion that believes in martyrdom. What I am asking for is a link to an Awake/WT article that states that this is no longer a gray area left to personal conscience. Thanks bunches.

My family was, especially my dad and grandmother (on my dad's side and biological mother's side). My mom lives in Georgia, so I live with my dad and stepmother. Which water heater should I buy (to save the most)?

I have an oil burning furnace and oil fired water heater tankless coil inside it that supplies our hot water. I want to replace oil heating with pellet stove and then I heard the oil fired coil will not be economical because the house heat will not be in use. for the cheap airfares i cannot give you any advice, because i'm from europe. i'd advice you to visit at least, rome, florence, and milano, all cities with shopping, art (and lot's of it!) and nightlife. In the main cities at least a bit english is spoken, in rome they are very used to tourists, so it won't be a problem at all. a hotel you can find between 40 and 200 euro's a night, it all depends on what you want to spend. also with food, there are very expensive "tourist" restaurants, and there are very good restaurants for a reasonable price. for example in rome at via sardegna ( a side street near villa borghese of the via veneto) there's "la bruschetta" . i'd advice you to make up a plan of each city you want to visit, and than to pose your questions on each city here on aswers, to get some more detailed answers. than you'll get a more clear idea of what is expecting you. but you need to know, in all cities it is very crowdy and they drive like crazy! you'll have to get used to it!

Drained me, they sent me home, later that night had to go back cuz I couldn't pee they put another catheter in me. I hope the fact that religion causes harm to society is not in question here. This is an obvious fact, right? I mean, religion is used by con artists, frauds and charlatans to scam money out of people and this is very harmful to society. Religion is used to brainwash children and disable them with bogus beliefs and this is very harmful to society. Corrupt politicians gain power by putting on a religious act and subverting the democratic process and this is very harmful to society. The progress made by scientists and innovators is restricted by religious people yammering about their silly made up myths and morals and this is very bad for society. So clearly, religion causes great harm to society in more than one way and something should be done to stop this harm. But any laws enacted regarding religion will inevitably infringe upon people’s freedom of religion which too, would be a sad to see. But something needs to be done; I think regulating religion is the lesser of two evils, wouldn’t you agree?

Will my horses forelock look the same when it grows back?

How long will it take for my horse's forelock to grow back? Will it look the same? It sounds horrible, but I had to cut my gorgeous Arab gelding's forelock totally off because we were away for 2 days and when we got back he looked like Coolio. There were burrs EVERYWHERE on him! I got the ones out of his mane and tail, but I absolutely could not get the ones out of his forelock. I even tried Show Sheen and they wouldn't come out. So...I cut his forelock off and it came off in one big chunk. So now he looks like an Ahkal Teke horse with horrible conformation. He looks so funny. In my house i'm always the one who cleans. my stepmom always cleans on the weekenss and during the week i clean. My dad yells at me when the house is a mess and expects me to keep it clean. the only problem is i have a stepsister who is my age and no one yells at her to do anything. i cleaned my house today, did laundry,dishes, and tidyed up and about five minutes ago my dad told me to go vac the living room and put stuff away and said my stepsister wud help and she didnt. she sat in her room and after i was done she was like im bored. what do i do. im so unbelievably mad, and my dads a jerk, whenever i clean and tell him i did he just says, "dont expect anything, this is what your suppost to do." Because it would be stupid. We have a progressive income tax and there is a good case for a local income tax to replace tax based on property value. You could argue for them to be more progressive but unfortunately there is a point when higher marginal taxation on the wealthy leads to reductions in tax revenue. Instead we need to genuinely look at reducing wasteful government spending and focus any savings on reducing direct taxation on low paid workers.

What is wrong with my power steering?

I'm having some issues with my power steering. The fluid level is good, and the belt looks okay, however I am aware that it is probably quite old. I have a 1995 Camry, and sometimes on wet/rainy days, if I were to turn the wheel all the way in one direction, the belt will slip and screech, and the steering wheel may get thrown in the opposite direction. This has never been a major issue, but now I noticed that while driving on a long road trip, my steering would go in and out... most of the time it was normal, but occasionally it would either pull, or the steering wheel would bump left and right (almost as if my tires weren't balanced, but with less of a pattern). I am wondering if a slipping belt could cause this problem. The belt for the PS is separate from the other accessories. In addition, the pulley on the PS pump has quite a bit of wobble. Could this just be a loose belt, or might I have some other issues... How should I go about repairing this?

I am 16 and a sopre in high school. I go to a small school where everyone knows each other. Being that my name is Jack Daniels it seems I am known by every single person in the school. How do you stop using crystal meth and never go back?

Fighting an addiction is a lifelong commitment that only another addict can possibly understand. I have been clean and sober for 4 years this August 20 and it has not been an easy road. I am an addict and will always be one, this I know. It is good that you acknowledge that you are in fact an addict, the next step is to truly want to quit. The fact that youve gone to Rehab (that is if youve done it on your own and it wasnt court ordered) is a good thing. ANY drug is not only mentally addicting but physically addicting as well. Im sure your many trips to rehab have taught you this. NA meetings allow you to vent and to listen to others', but in reality dont really help all that much..at least they didnt help me..they just kept me busy and the more time I spent there, the less free time I had to sit around thinking about calling my slinger. I just kept telling myself I had kids that were gettng older who were bound to start realizing what was going on, and thought about the money spent, and put myself in such a mindset that the thought of getting high actually made me nauseaus. It still does to this day. But I had to do it myself...not all the rehab or pleading by the family or anything else did it....just me wanting to be done with it before my kids got old enough to know better and me wanting to just do it cuz I had enough. Its hard, but it can be done....Weed your garden of all those who you THINK are your friends, cuz they really arent....theyre just getting high buds...they really dont wanna see you doing good, have you noticed that yet? Are they still stopping over to see if you wanna catch a buzz despite the fact that they know you were in rehab? Ill bet they are. Get rid of all of them. Distance yourself from anyone and everyone who ociates with drugs. Find other things to do with your time. Continue your NA mtgs. Get a sponsor. But most importantly, do things to keep busy so as not to think about it constantly. Good luck
