Can a power steering pump cause my car to shut off?

My car turns off randomly after making turns at low speeds. The battery has been checked and the alternator. They are both fine. My power steering fluid has a leak somewhere and we keep it filled. Can anyone give me some advice on what this can be. I have a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo.
