Did you (or someone you know) use orchids for their wedding flowers?

Orchids are one of the best flowers you can use for weddings. They last a long time, and are quite hardy. They are great for submerging in a vase of water. I regularly recommend orchids in wedding flowers, as they can also withstand the day being out of water. Dendrobiums and Cymbidiums are the most hardy for this purpose. I have also used the single flowers of Dendrobiums plucked off the stems and suspended them on fine wire for arrangements with no problems. Just keep them away from very low temperatures such as fridges, as they are prone to frostbite.
