Dentist - Dental hospital referal?

Can someone help me, i don't like pestering my dentist any more than i have to, hence why im asking this question online, but i have a probloem with my wisdom teeth and my dentist said he would refer me to the dental hospital but i havnt head a thing and it been nearly two weeks now. how much longer am i expecting to wait?
